Description:
Experimental fieldwork
The experimental fieldwork uses a tailored methodology which builds on micro-ethnography, conceptual metaphor theory and theories of dance, in combination with creative methods of capturing data (video-audio recording, drawing). This consists of immersive sessions with 12 textile designers and artists, where this methodology will be used to collect data about designers’ and artisans’ perceptions about sustainability in their work. Collected information will be further used in the art experimentation process.
